Our Last Days IN Arizona

Before we left Arizona we had to try and hang out with as many of our Arizona friends as possible. This is Hilary and Amber hanging out with my family. I always loved hanging out with those two along with Ben and Joseph.( Hilary's husband and Little brother.)I will miss them a lot. this is our Apartment door in Colonial Grand Apartments. All the good memories.
We also tried to go with Paul and Roxie on a few more little adventures before we left. This is a Picture of me and Roxie at Fossil Springs. It was an 8 mile hike round trip with just us and the babies. It was really hot because it was June and when we got to the bottom of the trail we discovered a dry river bed. We were so disappointed and more than that a little concerned because we were hot, tired and super low on water. We were counting on this spring to refill our water and,the spray bottle we used to keep the babies cool. There was a split in the trail and we were not sure what direction the spring would be in, but we chose to follow the sign that said main trail. We hiked a little ways and the more we hiked the more hopeless and hot we got. I stopped and said "if we never find the spring or even a small puddle, we are just making it worse for ourselves the further we go if we need to hike back with what water we have. And we need that for ourselves to hike the kids out of here." So we turned around and hiked back to the split in the trail. We rested in some shade there and some hikers passed us and we asked if the spring was there and how far it was. They said it was there and maybe only ten minutes away to hike. They said that the trail leads you through the dry riverbed and then out of no where green plants and trees get thick and you find the spring.
Well we did find it and it was like a little Paradise in the middle of a dry barren desert. The dry riverbed was full and flowing with cool fresh water from the spring. We heard there were water falls a mile further but we didn't want to go any further with the babies. We stripped our kids down and sat in the cool water with them for a good long while. Roxanne fell early on in the hike and scraped her knee pretty bad but she trys to hid it in the pictures.

This is us at Montezumas Castle in Arizona with Roxanne, Paul and Jaxon. It was kind of a let down, but the well that is not to far from that site is way awesome.
This is our last Family picture in Arizona in the corn Field between our apartment and Marks Medical school.
This is us in front of our apartment door in Colonial Grand apartments. I enjoyed living there. Mostly because we never had a scorpion problems like they did in the San Angeline apartments next to us.

This is the dirt road that Mark road his bike down many a days to go to school. We only lived maybe a half a mile from the school. and 4 miles from Roxanne and Paul.
