Seth is 14 months old and today was the very first time that Seth successfully drank out of a cup without spilling anything. I was so proud. It was only a day or two ago that he tied and duped the juice all over his face and chest, so I guess he learned his lesson finally.
Lately Seth has stuck with saying the only words he knows how to say for everything. When he wakes up from his nap half awake he will rub his eyes and the first thing he says is Ball or Dog. He loves balls! He could go for hours playing with balls if he had someone to play with him. He knows how to say dog ball dad mom yea and no. He uses no way more than yes. I guess he did recently learn how to say More. Anything he sees on four legs is a dog to him though. Seth makes a lot of super cute noises that are hard to describe, but the one that is my favorite is a high pitched huh? So vocab is doing well and progressing slowly, but surely. As for his mobility he is exceeding all expectations. He can climb up and down almost anything with ease. He has awesome balance and loves to dance and bob his head side to side or up and down when he hears a good beat. He looks like a bobble head when he does it. It is way cute.
When it comes to eating he is crazy about bananas! When ever we run out of them he goes to the trash and digs out a peel and hands it to me then says ana? (that is his best attempt to say banana.)Then I have to break it to him that wee are all out.
As far as what Seth enjoys most. He gets way excited when ever Dad comes home and loves to wrestle and play around with the ball with Mark. He loves doing it with me too, but he does not always get to see his Dad. Seth gets all his good dancing skills from me when we are home alone we get up and dance on the coffee table. Seth loves to go outside and when we go hiking he loves to hike on his own rather than be carried. That is until he tuckers out. He is a tough little guy and does not cry to often when he falls. He loves to have Mark or Myself read to him and when he sleeps he sleeps almost always on his stomach. When he was a few months old he used to cry and I would change his diaper and try to feed him but he would still cry so I figured out that he likes to sleep on his stomach. So I turned him over and he would hush up instantly. If that did not work than the other thing was that he loved and still loves to be close to me or Mark. We are always hugging and kissing our little man because he is to darn cute to resist. We are blessed to have such a great kid.
